A woman was shot during a drive-by style shooting in the Bronx Wednesday, according to police.
The incident happened on Willett Avenue and E. 219th Street around 12 a.m.
Police say a large group of people was gathered outside a home on Willett Avenue when a white two-door sedan pulled up, a man got out of the car and began shooting into the crowd.
Police say they believe the shooter missed their intended target and instead shot the woman.
The victim was shot in the hand and torso, and was rushed to Jacobi Medical Center where she is recovering.
