One person has died after three people were ejected from a vehicle in a crash on the Merritt Parkway, officials say.
State police tell News 12 Connecticut that a car traveling southbound around 1:30 a.m. crashed into another vehicle, hit a guard rail and flipped over between exits 52 and 53 – ejecting all three passengers.
Police say 27-year-old Jordan Soares, of Bridgeport, was killed.
They say the two other passengers are being treated for their injuries and are expected to survive, as well as the two individuals in the car they hit.
