A Connecticut resident has died as a result of the outbreak of lung illnesses blamed on vaping, state officials said Thursday.
The health department is only saying the person was in their 30s and died shortly after being hospitalized last week.
There are now 25 confirmed cases of vaping-related illnesses in Connecticut, with the majority in Fairfield and New Haven counties.
Eighteen of the victims are under 35.
