Cold case victim’s loved ones return to Bridgeport to push for answers 33 years after killing

Bridgeport police said 37-year-old Rickeyta Shantise Baker was discovered on Stratford Avenue on Friday.

Just after 4 p.m., police discovered the body near a dumpster in the rear parking lot of the American Legion.

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner is conducting an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
