Residents in four southwestern Connecticut communities are being asked to conserve water over the next four days.
Officials with Aquarion Water Company say they are asking residents in Darien, Greenwich, Stamford and New Canaan to conserve water because the area is experiencing a moderate drought due to an extended dry spell.
They also say some of the reservoirs in the area are at half capacity.
Officials from Aquarion Water Company also say residents should make sure their sprinkler heads are efficient and that they are not wasting water. They are also advising residents to fix water leaks.
