The Anti-Defamation League of Connecticut will hold a free public event in Bridgeport this week to address the rise in antisemitism across the country.
"The rise in hatred in America has been well documented and there are probably a lot of causes for it. But I think it's really important that we look at it and, as a community, come together to talk about it because the overwhelming majority of people don't want it and don't like it, and are looking for bridges to build towards their neighbors, not against," said WICC Radio host Lisa Wexler.
The free event will take place Thursday at 7 p.m. at B'nai Israel at 2710 Park Ave.
Pre-registration is required.
