A company in Wilton is continuing expansion plans, eyeing home properties on Arrowhead Road as an option to grow.
ASML, a semiconductor company in Wilton, has been focusing on its expansion plans, which includes building a new road. As they look for more ways to grow, one option they are considering is buying out the homes that sit next to their property after a neighbor spearheaded talks.
In recent weeks, the neighborhood has been in contact with ASML. The company says this is all in its early stages and nothing is concrete.
Jeffery Musor, who has lived on Arrowhead Road for more than 37 years, says if the price is right, it may be time to say goodbye to the community.
"We're the easy people on the street I think," he said.
News 12 is told the majority of homeowners on the street are leaning toward taking the offer, however there are still a few who are on the fence.
"This is my home and I do not want to sell it, I just don't want to sell it, bottom line," said Paul Egan. "This is my retirement home. I don't care what the bonus is, I don't want to sell my house."
ASML says this is all still in its preliminary stages and only one option they are currently weighing.
