As gas prices continue to climb, many drivers say they are bargain hunting for the best deals.
The average price in Connecticut is currently $3.79 for a gallon of regular gas. But that price depends on the station where customers are filling up.
The Sunoco on Post Road in Westport is charging $3.63 for regular gas, but right next door at the Mobil, a gallon of regular gas is $4.29. Owners of both stations didn?t return requests for comments on the big price difference.
Many drivers say they will continue to shop around for gas until the prices get lower.
Meanwhile, experts say the average price for gasoline nationwide is up 70 cents from last year. They add that prices are only expected to rise over the summer.
