2ds agoA Bridgeport man was sentenced to 12 years in prison for accidentally killing his friend.
Giovanni Ramos shot his friend John Patrick Jr. in the head while they played with a loaded gun in June 2021.
Ramos says he did not know the gun was loaded.
Ramos was 21 at the time, and Patrick was 22.
He pleaded guilty to second-degree manslaughter, stealing a firearm and carrying a pistol without a permit.
