Bridgeport Police Chief Roderick Porter has rolled out a new police performance survey for the public to rate the interactions they have with the police.
The survey is accessible by accesing a QR code on a mobile phone. The QR code is specific to each officer.
"It's anonymous. Each officer has their own QR code, it's assigned to that specific officer and when they go out to each citizen on each call they will hand it to them," says  Sgt. Marlon Campo of the Bridgeport police.
Chief Porter says the survey is not meant to be negative or punitive toward the officer.  He says it is meant to give the department a chance to monitor and improve the quality of its services using real-time feedback.
The Bridgeport Police Union issued a statement saying it has concerns about the survey that it wants to see addressed.
