Bridgeport residents got in the holiday spirit Tuesday night at the city's annual Tree Lighting Festival at McLevy Green.
Mayor Joe Ganim helped host the tree-lighting event, which kicked off around 4 p.m.
Food trucks and holiday vendors brought in more Christmas cheer as the community waited for sunset to light the tree.
The city even provided free meter parking for people who attended the ceremony.
The night ended with yet another successful tree lighting for the community.
