Children at a Bridgeport school now have a new library, funded by donations.
The nonprofit Brighter Lives for Kids Foundation organized the initiative at Cesar Batalla School.
Organizers say they now have 6,000 donated books for kids in pre-K through second grade.
Before the new library came along, the students didn't have the opportunity to borrow books and take them home.
They also set up a GoFundMe account for people to donate more books and fund other programs at the school.
