Several Bridgeport youth met with police and community leaders Tuesday evening to tackle the issue of gang violence.
The forum is part of nine-week program called Agents of Change.
It's an initiative backed by Mayor Joe Ganim, and is an effort to give young men of color a voice as they dissect the topic of violence.
Police are hoping that by having these events they can dispel some of the misconceptions young people may have about gangs and street violence.
Officials say Agents of Change ends on June 28, and they hope they can continue the program next year.
