As Election Day draws near, poll sites the Bronx and around the city are gearing up for the big day.
New voting machines will be making their debuts in all five boroughs this year, allowing anyone to be able to cast their ballots. The booths are user-friendly to the blind and have headphones for those who are slightly hearing impaired. Experts say the booths have touch screens and are easy to use.
Election officials have some answers to commonly asked questions by voters. They say residents must re-register every four years in order to vote. They also say that if a resident voted in the primary, then they are registered to vote in the general election.
