Police located a car in Bridgeport that was loaded with gasoline canisters, and at least one person is in custody.
Stamford police and the FBI were searching for the car and at least one suspect who they say made threats last week.
Bridgeport police were called to Fairfield Avenue early Wednesday morning for a suspicious car parked downtown with a strong odor of gasoline.
Bridgeport police learned the car was wanted by Stamford police and the FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force.
Stamford police responded to the area and located the car loaded with multiple five-gallon gasoline canisters.
The car was towed away.
Stamford police did not say what kind of threats the suspect made, but that the car was registered to the same person who was taken into custody.
