Stamford police are hoping the public can help identify a thief who broke into an apartment while a family slept.

They shared a video with News 12 of a burglary who entered 39 Corbo Terrace at approximately 3:05 a.m.

They say he entered through a window and then made an entry into an apartment where he made off with about $1,500 in cash.
