Connecticut's Attorney General William Tong called for a peaceful transfer of power Saturday following President-elect Joe Biden's election win.
Tong said the election was "fair, legal, transparent and accurate."
He added, "I am proud of our people—Americans—who have elected the first woman, the first African American, the first Asian Pacific American, vice president in the history of our great nation. And a former state attorney general too!"
