Connecticut Public Television apologized today to fans who did not get to see the end of one of the network's most popular shows last night.
CPTV says an engineering mistake caused the network to clip the end of the season premiere of "Downton Abbey."
Viewers instead saw a commercial for Yale New Haven Hospital followed by other public TV programming.
CPTV released a statement saying it was profoundly sorry and embarrassed by the mistake, and is offering the episode online and will rebroadcast the episode several times this week.
