Driver hospitalized after car ends up in Norwalk River

State police were working Saturday morning to get a woman's car out of the Norwalk River.

State police were working Saturday morning to get a woman's car out of the Norwalk River.
Fire officials say the Hyundai sedan was found near the Merritt Parkway near the Exit 40A ramp.
It was submerged in a about a foot of water. The driver got out of the car on her own and was taken to Norwalk Hospital.
She was the only one inside. Officials haven't confirmed how the car got in the water.
