If you were looking forward to tonight’s Earth, Wind & Fire concert in Bridgeport, you’ll have to wait a bit longer.

The band had been scheduled to play a show in New York Saturday with Lionel Richie, but that show was canceled at the last minute and postponed to tonight due to Richie's travel problems getting from Boston to New York.

With the MSG show now Monday, the show in Bridgeport has been pushed to Wednesday.

The postponement means some disappointment for Yankees fans. Derek Jeter, who had been promoted to host the event, will not be able to attend Wednesday’s show.
