A former Greenwich resident is facing manslaughter charges after Stamford police say he assaulted a 78-year-old man.
Suspect William Lindemann was arrested in Florida and brought back to Connecticut Wednesday night where he pleaded not guilty to manslaughter and assault charges. According to an arrest warrant, the suspect?s credit card was used in the parking lot in which the victim, Herbert Davison, was assaulted. Davidson died on Sunday from injuries related to that assault.
Davison?s son was relieved to see some progress in his father?s case.
?It's a difficult day to see the suspect, but we're happy that he's in custody.?
