Fairfield police arrest man for allegedly stealing jewelry from store

Police said Juan Aviles broke into Lenox Jewelers and stole $56,000 in merchandise.

Fairfield police said a man was arrested for breaking in and stealing jewelry from a store at the Black Rock Turnpike. 
Police said Juan Aviles broke into Lenox Jewelers and stole $56,000 in merchandise. 
The incident happened on Nov. 29.  
Officers located the car Aviles used in the burglary and made the arrest.  
Aviles is being held on a $250,000 bond.
