Fairfield teen hopes to inspire others after competing on 'World of Dance'

A Fairfield teen who competed on the show "World of Dance" is already planning his next moves.
Aydin Eyikan made it to the duel portion of the show a few weeks ago. He did not make it any further, but he says he is still going places and hopes to inspire others.
The 16-year-old says it was incredible to work with the other dancers on the show.
"The whole experience of 'World of Dance' was just incredible," Eyikan says. "I think my favorite part was being able to meet all the other dancers. This is incredible because the exposure was surreal."
Eyikan says it was great to hear the celebrity judges, including Jennifer Lopez, tell him "don't stop dancing," and he hopes his hours of preparation will get him back on the show.
"That's just such an amazing feeling to know that all the work I put in all these years is going in to something so amazing and being able to inspire people through this platform," says Eyikan.
Eyikan has racked up countless awards and still works hard on his craft every day, even traveling to New York City for classes. Eyikan says he plans to attend The Juilliard School in New York City after high school and then wants to be in a ballet company.
