The family of a Bridgeport teen killed in a car crash in Trumbull while driving home from his shift at Wendy's grieved their loss Thursday.
Elijah Page, 17, was killed in the crash Tuesday night on Old Town Road.
Page's mom says she was worried when her son did not come home after his shift at Wendy's.
She says using the locator on his iPhone, she rushed to Old Town Road in Trumbull about a mile away from their house and saw the aftermath of the single-car crash.
The family says they are grateful to an Amazon driver who stopped to make sure Page, who had been ejected from the car, was protected from the view of onlookers.
He went to Wooster Middle School in Stratford and graduated exactly one month ago from Fairchild Wheeler High School in Bridgeport, and loved both music and sports.
The family has set up a GoFundMe to help with funeral expenses.
