Fire crews say flames ripped through the garage of a home in Weston early Sunday morning.
The fire started just after midnight on Catbrier Road.
The president of the Weston Volunteer Fire Department says that the fire only spread to the first floor of the home before firefighters quickly extinguished it.
The fire forced two people and a dog to run to safety from the flames, and some neighbors were left without power temporarily.
About 20 firefighters from the Weston Fire Department as well as neighboring departments responded.
No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
