Fire officials and emergency crews responded to a car rolled over on I-95 in Milford.

It happened around 2 a.m. Sunday just after exit 36 heading north.

Officials say the driver lost control of the vehicle, causing it to ride up a dirt embankment, strike the overpass wall and roll over.

The male driver was taken to a hospital with serious injuries.

The debris from the crash caused the highway to temporarily shut down, but it has since reopened.
