Norwalk fire officials say a firefighter was hurt battling a blaze at a house fire this morning.
The fire may have started in the basement of the home on Dock Road after 12:30 a.m.
Officials say a dog in the house was killed but residents got out safely.
Officials say the firefighter fell down a flight of stairs and suffered a minor shoulder injury. The firefighter is expected to be OK.
