State officials are wrapping up their fraud investigation into the more than 800 state employees who received food stamps following Tropical Storm Irene.
Gov. Dannel Malloy says all cases of suspected fraud will be handed over to the state's Office of Labor Relations by the end of today.
So far, officials have found 98 fraudulent applications for aid ranging from $200 to $1,200.
Malloy said four employees have been fired. Four more retired before their disciplinary proceedings ended.
