Gov. Dannel Malloy briefed the state this morning about how Connecticut plans to deal with the impending storm.
Speaking from Hartford, Malloy said nearly a thousand plows and trucks will be available to clear the highways with a Thanksgiving storm barreling down on the state.
Malloy suggested people stay off the roads if they can once the storm really gets going.
He says more than 600 state crews are ready to go, as well as private crews and they will begin pre-treating the highways overnight.
