Local and state officials gathered Tuesday morning at Greenwich High School for a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the school's recently completed vestibule.
Officials say the new ADA accessible entryway now hosts a security workstation and enhanced campus surveillance capabilities.
"We now have a space that meets the highest standards of student safety but is also fully ADA accessible," says Acting Board of Education Chair Karen Hirsh "We've set a new standard for what it means to build with both care and foresight."
Officials say the last time the building was completely rehabilitated was back in the 90s.
