A fight that started at a restaurant spilled out onto a Bronx street Thursday and ended with two men being shot, according to police.
Three males have been arrested in connection to the incident. The men are being charged with attempted murder and possession of a weapon.
Police say the incident started around 1:15 a.m. outside Tosca Café on East Tremont Avenue. Two groups of men allegedly exchanged heated words before gunfire rang out.
Sources say one of the shooting victims flagged down a police vehicle, while the other victim drove himself to a hospital. Police have seized two vehicles, one with 12 bullet holes and another with blood stains.
Tosca?s attorney issued a statement to News 12 The Bronx. ?Nothing took place inside the restaurant,? said the attorney. ?Surveillance tapes were viewed by the police with the owners present. The video does not show any crime activity inside the restaurant. The restaurant was closed when the shooting happened.?While investigating the incident, a reporter from News 12 The Bronx was threatened and attacked.
