Hundreds of people marched down River Street in Milford during its annual Veterans Day Parade Sunday. Some veterans who have marched in the parade for decades say it still sets off their emotions.

Hundreds of people marched down River Street in Milford during its annual Veterans Day Parade Sunday.
Some veterans who have marched in the parade for decades say it still sets off their emotions.
"One of the reasons I wear the sunglasses," noted Vietnam veteran Bob Murray, who has been marching in the parade for 30 years.
"The ones who survived, this is our day," one veteran said. "This is a very special day to us."
Others likened the celebration to Christmas.
