Hundreds of Bronx residents turned out Sunday to celebrate St. Patrick?s Day at the annual parade in Throgs Neck. More than 15 bands, 24 schools and various community groups filled the parade route along East Tremont Avenue. Bronx residents, decked out in their best green attire, said the parade is an important event in the community because so many Irish-Americans live in Throgs Neck. This is the ninth year the parade has been held in Throgs Neck.
