Storm Watch Meteorologist Jonathan Cubit visited fourth graders at Wolfpit Integrated Arts School in Norwalk on Wednesday.

Students learned about different weather terms, like high- and low-pressure systems and jet streams.

Teachers say after the lesson, students are more excited to learn about weather.

"I would say they have definitely become more interested, their interested has piqued that were shooting up," says Day Michell.

Students are currently studying about the country's regions and how their climates are different.
