The future of a South Norwalk business that neighbors have banded together to protest is now in the hands of the courts.
This week, Norwalk's zoning commission denied an application that would allow AMEC Carting to continue operating in the neighborhood.
Neighbors complain that the business, which handles construction waste, is too noisy and creates health concerns.
Officials say AMEC has appealed cease and desist orders from the city, and the case is now in the hands of a judge.
