A group of local children have one choice message: Don?t smoke.
The group, made of 8- to 10-year-olds, says they're waging war against the dangerous habit and are going door-to-door throughout their neighborhood in hopes of spreading the word.
?You shouldn't smoke because it's bad for you and you could die from it,? says one of the children.
One of the four children, Shirleen, had a family member who died of cancer; the others say they just hate walking out of a store and into the path of a smoker.
The group says they're considering holding car washes to raise money to help fight smoking, but in the meantime, are asking people to donate to the American Cancer Society.
