State lawmakers filed a bill Friday to legalize sports betting in Connecticut.
Off-track betting parlors like Bobby V's in Stamford want to offer the service, but the tribes that run Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun casinos have said they have exclusive rights to sports wagering.
A separate bill gives the tribes first dibs at any gambling expansion.
