This morning, Long Islanders are buzzing after former President Donald Trump formally announced a third run for the White House.

There has been mixed reaction from many across the political spectrum and many say Trump may have some difficulty getting support from his own party.

Local former Congressman Peter King spoke with News 12 and said there are some other better candidates out there for president.

“I don’t think he can do it again, and I think he also has created a lot of animosity in the Republican party,” says King.
