The Fairfield man who caused a gun scare and lockdown at the University of New Haven last year was sentenced to two years in prison on Friday.
William Dong pleaded guilty to weapons charges after bringing two loaded guns onto the college campus last December.
Investigators discovered a rifle and 2,700 rounds of ammunition in Dong's Fairfield home.
Officials say the sentence is fair but warn him to take future actions into consideration. They say he still faces sentencing on federal charges.
