Some local high schools are still moving ahead with their originally scheduled graduations next week.
Masuk High School says its graduation a week from this Friday will be a little bit different than others.
It says its students will watch virtual speeches from home and then they'll come to the fireman's grounds and gather in a procession up Route 111 to the high school.
Once at the high school, Principal Jacob Greenwood says students will be able to actually get out of their cars and get pictures when they receive their diplomas. He says it's really important for the seniors to be recognized.
"Every single parent is going to be able to drive straight up to that stage and take their own straight on picture while staying in their car," said Greenwood.
The seniors will also get free pizza and a goody bag on the way out.
Principal Greenwood says he also wants to thank the town and other local organizations for helping to make this possible.
The principal says underclassmen have already volunteered to decorate along the route and put up signs.
Some other schools are also doing a similar type of a procession of cars, but not necessarily letting students get out of their cars.
Some other towns along the coast say they might even do their ceremonies at the beach.
