Students at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield attended a memorial Mass for a classmate who was killed in a car accident.
A car hit Kaitlyn Doorhy, 20, Friday afternoon as she crossed a street in Bridgeport near campus.
Police say Doorhy died Saturday morning.
Doorhy was getting ready to start her junior year at Sacred Heart.
The university is also making counseling services available to students and staff.
The school's president says they'll hold a memorial service for Doorhy this week, but the details have not been released.
Doorhy's funeral is set for Friday in her hometown on Long Island.
