Minor early morning earthquake felt in West Hartford
A minor 1.9-magnitude earthquake struck West Hartford early Friday morning.
The quake was felt around 1:14 a.m.
The 1.9-magnitude quake caused no damage, but was felt by many in the state capital.
Minor fault lines run through much of Northern Connecticut, according to News 12 meteorologist Justin Godynick
Godynick says it's common for an earthquake to happen in Connecticut.
He says a similar quake hit Durham around the same time in 2020.
