The owner of a car dealership in New Canaan continues to watch business drive away as talk of a potential government bailout still looms.
Leo Karl, owner of Karl Chevrolet on Elm Street, says business is the worse he's seen in years. He says that is why he is calling on the government to act on a $15 billion relief package to bailout Detroit's automakers. Karl adds that if the big automotive dealers fail, the ripple effects would be unthinkable to the economy.
Karl says even when customers seem to reach an agreement to buy a car, they turn around and say they want to see what happens with the bailout before buying.
