A public meeting was held Wednesday night in New Canaan in hopes of warning people about the dangers of distracted driving.

The meeting, held at New Canaan High School on Farm Road, was attended by students of all ages.

To drive home the point of safety, officials had a student participate in a demonstration in which he sorted a deck of cards while listening and answering unexpected questions.
