In a letter to families, the principal of Norwalk High says physical education teacher Jon Albrect died last week.
The state medical examiner says Albrecht died from complications of COVID-19 and diabetes.
In addition to being a teacher, Albrect coached several of the high school's sports teams during his tenure.
