Norwalk officials say local companies are looking to fill good-paying jobs.
The city hosted a job fair Wednesday afternoon at the South Norwalk Community Center.
The jobs most in need include plumbers, electricians and carpenters. Officials say experience is not necessary, as the positions include on-the-job training.
Mayor Harry Rilling says that because of upcoming construction projects in the city, many of the new employees will be able to work locally.
