A Norwalk man received a no-contact order Monday at his arraignment in connection with a weekend stabbing that seriously injured another man.
Police say Angel Mejia, 31, attacked the victim after an argument on Lexington Avenue Saturday morning. He faces assault charges.
According to investigators, responding officers found the victim bleeding on a front stoop with stab wounds to the torso and leg. They say witnesses led them to a Kossuth Street home where police found and arrested Mejia.
The victim's current condition was not immediately available.
The judge set Mejia's bond at $500,000. He's due back in court next month.
