State Rep. Joe Gresko and Stratford Town Councilman Paul Tavaras distributed masks outside the Southend Community Center today.
The center serves as a food pantry on Wednesdays so they were able to give masks to people driving in and out.
"What better way to advocate for social distancing and doing the right thing as far as the pandemic goes then providing the free masks," Tavaras says.
Both officials hope to provide more masks to the public as they acquire more equipment.
"Our goal is to saturate this town to make sure that people have masks and have access to more masks. As you know one mask isn't enough," Gresko says.
