The third annual Norwalk NICE Festival Saturday celebrated diversity and culture through art, food and much more.
Janet Evelyn, of NICE Inc., says the idea of the festival was to celebrate our “global footprint” and not just focus on one culture.
The all-day event included performances and vendors, as well as unique opportunities to experience and embrace other cultures.
Organizers say each year the festival continues to grow. Last year, they saw over 4,000 attendees.
"They say it's like family bonding, really transcending to the community level," said Evelyn.
The event was free to the public, but donations were collected to support the nonprofit.
