following the announcement of a task force meant to crack down on illegal ATV
use.
Officials say the dirt bike collided with another vehicle
on Spring and Brook streets around 4:30 p.m. Friday.
They have not confirmed the cause of the accident or the
victim's conditions.
Police tell News 12, “the accident underscores the dangers
posed by dirt bikes and other light recreational vehicles," which they say
are “often illegal and unsafe for use on city streets."
